This legendary house was originally designed by Norman Eaton for world-famous South African Artist Walter Battiss in 1939. Rescued from being demolished, Battiss House was lovingly renovated in 1986. The gleaming wooden floor and rounded windows (from Pretoria Boys High School) the Battiss murals on walls and bathroom floor have been kept intact.
The Guesthouse management and staff is fully dedicated to make your stay as easy and comfortable as possible, offering the simplistic and peaceful surrounds of Fook Island as a escape to the fast forward pace of everyday life.
